ignition wiring
I am getting my 78 f150 custom to run that i bought and the wiring is all messed up. So far the starter will turn the engine and some lights work but i want to be able to get my spark plugs to spark. The previous owner messed up a lot of the wiring. the ignition module is not pluged in, there is no ignition coil, and i cant find all the wires needed to plug these in. i want to try to find a harness for the coil, distributor, and module. My question is can i use any ignition harnesses from a 73-79 f series? And if i cant find a used harness where is a good place to get one for inexpensive? Basically i need to put a new ignition together from scratch, im getting my parts from napa except the wiring i cant get there because they dont sell it.
