voltage regulator harness

I need some help with the charging system on my 77 bronco. On the plug that goes to my voltage regulator i have nothing going to the "S" terminal. I cant find any extra wires lying around in the harness so i was wondering if there was a wire going to the "S" terminal on the 76/77 broncos. If you have one where is it tied into the ignition switch. I asked for help over in the electrical forum too but the v-reg harness is a bronco specific question and all the diagrams i have dont match whats in my bronco now. My charging system behaves as if there is no voltage regulator in the circuit. Full charging all the time no matter what load is on it.
