remove mud flaps

i have a 02 ranger edge supercab non side step and was wondering how you take off the front mud flaps i tried but could not do it....

They should just unscrew. I went out and looked at mine, all there is, is a screw through the flare, and two through a bracket.

That said, I'm leaving mine on. They keep rocks and mud from killing my rocker panels, even though they are ugly as heck.

Torx?? You can buy the bits just about anywhere. Get a set. They're numbered t-5, t-10, t-15 etc.

It looks like a 7/32" socket should work on it. Or a 5.5mm if you got one of them.
