i bought a holly carb for my 84 f150 it looks almost identicle to the old one. except the new one, the fuel line comes in the side on the front, instead of the front bottom like the old one, and there is a vacuum line on the front of the old one that there isn't a place to put it on the new one, do i have the wrong one?
or should i plug the one vacuum line and try to bend my fuel line (its metal tubing so i dont know if i should attempt that)

 

have you tried this on the carb/fuel injection forum? Is this a 2v carb? You may just need a couple adaptations for the after market carb.
