If you take off the fuse panel cover, you can access it, not very much but you can get it. If you want a good area, take out the 4 10mm bolts holding the fuse panel on, pull it down and out of the way, beind that, there is a lot of area to tap, as well as all the main ignition wires.

Nafzimo:
Many thanks. I've been browsing this site for some time and that's the first time I have ever come across a complete posting of the wiring colors.

How can I tell if any of these will handle the new load without waiting for the fuses to blow?

CLPF350 - No Problem! They (BullDog) have the wiring listings available for most vehicles!
cwb - If you are worried about it, you could energize a relay with the key switched wire and then run a separate circuit through the relay for your radio equipment.

Matt, Its not a huge concern but I don't want to mess with it again. I thought of the relay but it's just too much hassle if I don't have to.

I run auxillary lights from mine 55 watts each. I have no problem. I doubt that your CB is 110 watts. While I was under there, I took 350s advice and tapped two more leads for future use, so I dont have to remove the fuse block again, although, that wasn't a major deal. I think your safe.

Well, now it's done . I used the grey with yellow tracer. On my truck the wires for the steering column are attched to what looks like a large plug(about 2.5" by 1.5")These wires come directly from the fuse block as was said before.I found enough room between there to tap in without removing the block. It works great! Thanks for your help and yes, the correct spelling is a-c-c-e-s-s-o-r-y!
