Post China virus SD have been de contented. 2023-current have smaller front axles, 2025-current F-250 7.3 non-Tremors have the smaller transmissions.

Agreed. My 22 has been solid, and while I didn't have one with a 6 speed, I did rent a Ram with a 6 speed before buying mine and the 10 speed in the Ford is SOOOO much nicer! And yeah, it skips a couple gears when taking off, but that isn't a problem. It doesn't need to go through each gear when driving unloaded. It isn't hurting anything. I do have a Banks PM on mine too, but it is only turn dup about half way on the City setting, so it's almost off, and I personally don't feel any lag. In fact, it seems a bit touchy to me! Personally, I think the 22 was the best year as it was the last of the 20-22's, so many of the problems were worked out, and it was before the 23+ design change, which is when they started taking a nose dive as far as looks are concerned.
