Crank No Start (Another)
Sorry if this is overdone guys. Just looking for help on my 01 superduty.
In the process of putting my truck back together after a ton of resto work. Had it running and driving, ended up moving to the states for about 3 months and had the truck sitting back home in Ontario in the snow and now it cranks but won't start.
Fuel pump - No power (to pump or in fuse box)
No tach movement - Replaced the CPS, still no tach movement
Fuses are all good
Has fuel
Does not smoke when cranking for a while, so I don't think it's injecting fuel
Wait to start light doesn't show (it didn't when the truck was running either, replaced all bulbs in the cluster)
Has immobilizer, but I have the fob for it
What's the deal with it? It's driving me crazy. I'm hoping it's something stupid and not my IDM being shot.

Drops to 10 or so volts while cranking. It spins good and fast

Open fuel drain on filter housing.... that will tell you if its pumping fuel pretty quick while cranking!
Plenty of oil... yea have to ask the dumb questions too.
Check grounds around IDM & Fuse box since its been sitting out in winter weather.
And yea... check for the famous windshield leak on driver's side.

Click the Link. Look on the right flow chart and look for min battery voltage. Crank no Start

Good point on the oil. I haven't checked it, pretty sure it's fine butttttt it's worth the check
Interesting point on the drivers side windshield leak. I do need to remove the chip as that might be part of it too
