Here's another story. I was out with a chaplains's group in Tennessee a couple of years ago and the leader of the group needed to rent a pickup truck to tow a trailer from Washington state to Tennessee. It was a newer Dodge Cummins. Nice truck, but halfway through the week he lost his dashboard display. Completely dark, nothing happening when the ignition was turned on. Popped the hood and I started poking around with the relay panel that was mounted above the left headlight assembly. After reseating all the relays, the display started working again. A good testament as to how I wish for the days of old where everything was still analog and mechanical.
