This vehicle has airbrakes, by the lack of a hydraulic master cylinder. So this is on a f-650 or f-750. On those trucks, it could have caterpiller, International, or cummins. Those trucks came with multiple options for diesel engines. If I were gunna guess, I'm going to guess caterpiller since I don't recognize the valve cover.
The vin number and a vin decoder will tell you what engine it has.

By the looks of the wiper motor, the cowl panel and the HVAC plenum
It looks like a basic F150 or F250 to me 1993 maybe
Shame they went to all that work and S hit canned the A/C
They must have been able to get diesel fuel free at a mine or?

This is the truck in question. Has F350 emblems on the fenders.
The pitman arm and front wheel tells me that's a medium duty frame (20,000-30,000 lb class rating) with a f350 (10,000 lb class rating) cab and fenders bolted to it.
Sadly I have gotten no response out of the seller and he is a few hundred miles away. It looks to me to be a homemade oil field service truck with an F350 cab. I think the engine is an English built turbo Ford of 495 cubic inches.

That is my thought as well but I cannot get the seller to respond.
Truck Trader is full of running, serviceable ready to work trucks
Why buy an unfinished questionable project?
If the engine is what I think it is I need it. I need to do more research on it. Thanks and being a junk pile might work to my benefit. I am not much for buying others finished projects anyway.
