Haha !! No, I don't think that any reasonable tire shop would insist on swapping out 400 mile tire valve stems, just as I wouldn't think that any intelligent person, capable of purchasing a new vehicle would allow said tire shop to change out andcharge for new valve stems on 400 mile tires. But as you see, replacement valve stems for tpms sensors are a thing. And if you paid the charge...

And FWIW, I just swapped out the 315mhz sensors on my 2019 winter wheels to 433mhz sensors in my garage, w/o use of a tire machine...after the first wheel I had it down to less than a 15 min/wheel process.
