2011 6.2 misfire
Was hauling one of my tractors the other day when the truck just started spitting and sputtering and back firing. Hooked up scanner and have miss fire codes for 5678. Went ahead and pulled the valve cover just to verify it wasn’t a broken spring. There were no broken springs. All new coils, plugs, and wires 100miles ago. You can clear the misfire codes and the truck will idle fine. But when you rev it up it will start missing and the light comes back on. It does also have a code of catalyst low on bank 2 along with an evap leak code. I am chasing my tail on this one. Weird how the misfires are only on the driver side of the engine. Any recommendations?

My 2013 285,500 miles did this to me. I changed purge valve, plugs and 2 coil packs that was giving me codes. Also thermostat, both upstream 02 sensors and drivers exhaust manifold. MAF sensor was good so didn't change. Runs perfect! Turned out to be just #7 coil pack even after I put a cheap new one in. Went and bought oem and wah-lah...problem solved. I mean it still needed all this things though. Next its front shocks and steering stabilizer, I did rear last week. Hope this helps!!
