Misfire question?

Hi everyone i have a 92 f250 4.9l, I have been having a problem that could be a misfire in cyl 6 because when running i check the obd1 and it states cyl 6. And after i go into park and switch from the front to the back tank the truck dies completely or comes back and runs ok. But then if it sits i have a mis and it die when trying to start it up or it starts up completely fine lol. So my question is is this because of a misfire in cyl 6?

The Cylinder display when running the KOER tests is only an indication of the number of cylinders the computer is programmed for. It is not an indication of a cylinder misfiring.
