Has anyone seen a high output/bright, preferably white light only, 60" lightbar, the type that mounts to the truck bed...in the area between the tailgate bottom and the top of the bumper? I'm really not interested in the ones that supplement the brake lights and turn signals. I just want a bright white only light that I can power thru one of the upfitter switches.
The purpose is to improve my reverse lighting while I have our camper hooked up. I use a set of Rock Tamer flaps that mount on my 2.5" receiver shank. The Rock Tamers cover all but about 2"-3" of the bumper, so mounting lights under, or flush mount into, the bumper will be useless when the Rock Tamers are in use.
Any suggestions?
Wouldn’t the camper block whatever light you put back there? Maybe run some auxiliary lights on the camper.
Maybe i could have worded this better. I primarily want more lighting in the hitch area. The camper is a smaller toy hauler, so I have spot lighting in the rear which helps out when backing up. I stumbled across what appeared to be a high output white bar a week or so ago but neglected to record where...

That's a good looking setup, but it mounts on the hitch shank in the same manner that the Rock Tamers mount up...so they wouldn't work when the camper is being used.
This will be a bit more than what you are looking for, but I had one on my 2018 F150, with the white wired into the backup circuit. A great even white light for backing. The amber warning for you would be a bonus. Used it for 4 years without an issue:
For those that come across this thread searching for similar, below is a link to an option that uses the existing hitch bar without impeding anything you might use the receiver for:
I have these lights and they are well made but spendy.
It seems like the stock LED backup lights on my 2025 Platinum are nowhere near as bright as the LED ones on my 2017 Platinum. I back into my driveway and use the edge of the concrete as my marker and it's really difficult to see with this truck. I have Torklift camper tie downs so the lights that mount on the hitch don't work for me so I'm looking at different clamps and then wiring a small slim light to that. Granted they won't help when I have my camper, hitch and rock tamer style flaps on there, but they will for the rest of the time. If this is mainly an issue when the camper is on and only for limited times why not mount a lightbar to the camper with a quick connect 12V plug tied to an upfitter switch. The other option would be an LED solar powered light that can be mounted to the back of the camper and just turn it on when backing into a campsite or hooking up the hitch. I have one on my camper and travel trailer that turn on with motion at the door and they work decent. The travel trailer is attached with exterior grade velcro for when I arrive at the site,
