E4OD issues, it’s like an echo in here
My issue is that I don’t have 4th gear, I’ve got 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and converter lockup
BUT I will say that lockup does seem to engage a bit too soon when it’s warmed up, going through the gears you can count them, then it’ll hit 3rd and immediately lock up the converter, then you can feel it unlock and try to shift to 4th and….
Nothing, you can feel it take that breath before it gets to the next gear but nothing happens, it just goes back to 3rd with lockup, kind of rough, computer is freshly repaired, everything else works perfectly, just a bit of weird lockup and no 4th gear, if I turn off overdrive I do not feel the attempt to shift to 4th any advice on what to look at would be great.
I prefer to make a diagnosis before I make a repair, but with that mileage/age, it's a waste of time fixing it. Yeah, it's just my opinion but if you do fix it, something else will be failing a short time later.
BTW, fuel pumps are just electric motors and brushes tend to wear out. If you have not done fuel pump/s I would too. No reason to be on the side of the road. Just another stupid opinion.

Youre right I should’ve rebuilt the trans along with the engine but at the time it wasn’t showing any signs of problems, crisp firm shifts and clean fluid, it was always changed every 50k miles, so I thought nothing of it until it just stopped shifting to 4th one day

The guy who rebuilt it knew his stuff though. Been great for a decade now, so I can't cry too hard anymore hehe.
