65 parking brake assembly help
Looking to see any recommendations to replace the parking brake assembly that goes under the dash, I currently only have the bracket and no additional hardware. I understand the assembly is hard to get, but I have seen mustang 64-66 assemblies (https://www.classicindustries.com/pr...rts/2780a.html) available. Has anyone got experience fabbing up one of those to work? What are my options?

About the only thing that looks the same is the handle. Piqued my interest, so I looked at mine. The trucks, or at least my F250, has a completely different firewall end. It looks like the Mustang utilizes a pulley, whereas the trucks have the cable go straight in the end, no nothing. The dash bracket is different, if it was the right length, and the end was configured for the truck style..... Keep looking.
