Fuel gauge issues

Fuel gauge issues
Need some help being pointed int he right direction
92 F150, 4.9L dual tanks
When switched to the front tank, shows correct fuel. when switched to rear fuel tank, pump works but the gauge shows just barely above the "E". ive replaced the sending unit, the selector switch and even grounded the ground wire.
What should i be looking at next? the gauge its self?

If the gauge works correctly on the front tank, it has to be something
specific to the rear tank- that side of the selector switch,
the wiring, a connector, or the sender. It's a pretty simple circuit.
