Built an electrically controlled lifting/articulating bed rack. I used Unistrut for the bed rails and was able to find a nice way to mounting the unistrut rail to the stake pockets. Each electric actuator is rated at lifting 660 lbs and are 20" long. When extended the upper rails can be bolted to the bottom rails for secure deployment of the tent in high winds and when full of people. I have been building this project in my mind for a few months and then pulled the trigger on parts and did it. Very pleased with the outcome. Cant find anything like this for sale online. Thinking about doing a DIY video but would have to pull everything apart and measure it lol . Eventually needs to happen so I can paint the rest though.. Would people be interested?
