My new aluminum diff cover was waiting for me when I got home this evening, looks way cool, and has a nice size drain plug.
Will make a thread about it and the install later.
Another PML product? They do make some great stuff. Really nice machine work.

Nope, got this one for cheap off amazon, PML is too pricey for a diff cover.
Y'all may laugh when you see it, but it looks really good I think, seems well made.

I got the $60 dorman 2008 aluminum special, I can't laugh at anyone.
Not a reusable gasket. If your planning on keeping the truck long enough that you will be the the next guy to service the diff then I would highly recommend you pick up a “Lube Locker” gasket, they make life easy.
My 2022 Sterling 3.73 had a factory reusable gasket. I saved it but replaced with lubelocker because I had already bought it...
Well sir, you may end up with a spare gasket, upon closer inspection of my truck, it looks like it came from the factory with a reusable gasket after all.
Going to swap diff covers on mine tomorrow and will find out for sure. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...g-install.html
