I am looking to replace the charcoal canister on a 2001 V10. The price for quality is $329, the price for low quality is about $110. Is this the type of component that a person should buy high quality or would this just be paying for name? Motorcraft vs Duralast?
While we're on the topic, how are the rubber lines that attach to it? Are you getting a specific code for the EVAP system? My lines are on their last leg, I was going to try and replace those before the cannister, but haven't done much research on if they are just standard size or not (assuming they must be?).

Just be sure whatever you use is rated for fuel vapor.
