Drivers side under the hood up near the firewall are four wires stubbed out, red, black, white, blue…12-24 gauge. Same wires are under the dash taped to the bottom of the steering column. Inside however, there are two smaller wires with heat shrink tubing on the ends in the same bundle, anyone have any ideas on what those are? 2005 Ex V10 EB 4x4.
Yeah, the four wires I mentioned are definitely that (I call them upfitter wires) and indeed all four wires appear on both sides of the firewall. These other two wires are taped into the same bundle but do not appear on the engine bay side.
Guess it would have helped if I watched the video!! I will go and look at the wiring diagram. I have two extra but it would be great if they were both tied to the fuse block!
They should be customer access wires. you should find the other end near the PCM on the inside, they are taped to the wiring harness near there. They are worthless IMO...nobody wants to tap onto wires twice when they should have a solid run besides fusing.

He mentioned 2 sets of wires, one set is verified as the access wires, the other is unknown.
