Never heard of a sensor reader, not for OBI, do you have OBDII?
The EEC tests the sensors and sets the appropriate codes if there is an issue.

On an old youtube video shows a 4000 OTC being used to read voltage on the TPS while on the truck, that reader google searched only comes up available on ebay in used condition, I don't want a used reader . Looking for a new reader...
There no real sensor reader for EEC-IV trucks.. instead, you'll need to back-probe the connector with a multimeter and see what value it's sending, and the compare the value to the maintenance manual and see if it's appropriate. Buying the $35 Electrical and vacuum trouble shooting manual (EVTM) PDF off eBay for your truck year is a very worthy investment.
