Rebuilt motor first start
Thanks everyone, as promised, here’s a video of the first start….
I will post some links to my previous threads for those interested. Thanks to anyone who helped and followed along this rebuild and a special thanks to the few who shared correspondence throughout this project.
couldn’t have done this without the knowledge on this forum and its contributing members. Thanks again.
*** and to wrap up my previous thread and crisis, I found a used oil cooler, came in the mail fast and was in great shape. Cleaned up, removed valves and cleaned all oil pathways, taped and painted and installed new o rings and gaskets. Success.

and this wasn’t the very first start
, it burbled over and ran really lumpy before I took this video, took a couple minutes to clear up though
