Need to replace the 2 circuit breakers on 1954 ford truck. It is all original other than being changed to 12-volt system. What size are the 2 breakers under dash. I cannot find the amp size but was told one is a 30amp and the other a 15 amp. Also, on the headlight switch there are 2 terminals labeled B for battery. Was needing to run a wire from there to voltage regulator to keep generator charged. Can I use either one of the B terminals on headlight switch. Thanks
Yes, they are 15 on the A circuit and 30 on the H circuit. RBM was an original supplier for the breakers.
First bit of advice is to not change it to a 12V system, especially for a stock truck.
If that boat has unfortunately sailed, then yes, your local parts chain should be able to supply suitable breakers in many form factors to meet your needs.

Here is a wiring diagram, from a '55. It does not have breakers but could help with the headlight switch wiring part.
@hooler1 , the headlight switch changed in 55 and again in 56. As such, the terminals are different and in different locations. I previously pointed to the correct switch diagram for 54.
Later Light Switches:
FAA-11654-A 51/54 Trucks, 50/54 Ford & Mercury Car

Yes sir! Thank You!
I was looking at the diagram you posted for the switch they used in '54 and just to me, the way they had the B terminals on the switch in the picture labled didn't quite tell me (not that I was asking) which one for sure came from the battery source and which one fed the load side of the circuit. They used the term "Battery Supply" on both terminals which I found confusing. Some folks would use an ohmmeter to verify it, but not everybody does that or has one. So it got me thinking, and looking, and thinking and looking more. I should of just stepped back and see if the OP had any questions about it.
As always, I appreciate your input!
Thank you again!
