shipping for a light package from Central PA to Western NY would be low.

I think he means the spacer between the bezel and the switch. Our trucks didn't have one.

I thought '56 truck light switches had a fuse mounted on the back of the switch? At least mine does.

Yes, the 56 does have the fuse holder under B7A-11654-A (B6T-11654-A)
