Ford 7000
I'm trying to help a friend. He has a 1978 Ford 7000.....not sure if it is a N or ae LN? Vin is R718V8J7295..Those "8"s could possibly be "B"s.........hard to read his writing...Cat 3208 diesel.....Hydraulic brakes. We are looking for a brake master cylinder and also a power steering pump. It sat for about 2 years, and someone evidently stole them. If someone could come up with some part numbers that would be great. Or if you know of someplace That parts out medium duty trucks. NAPA was slightly helpful.......The Ford medium truck dealer was no help......(too old) No wrecking yards around here.

R71 = LN700 diesel (badged and also referred to as LN7000)
8 = Shows a Cummins NTC350. Could this be a "B"?
B = Cat V190-3208. (also shows a Cummins KT450 under this code)
V = Kentucky Truck Plant
8J7295 = Something wrong there, that sequence is not found for any '73 to '79 truck. First character should be a letter. MIGHT BE:
BJ7295 = 1978 numerical series, March 1978 production.
Parts will require luck.

Engine code would be a B
Ford never installed a Cummins NTC or KT engine in a 7000 chassis
Not sure if the NTC was offed in a 8000 chassis but KT was not
Cummins NTC, KT, Cat 3406, 8V Detroit were commonly only available in the 9000 chassis
