What's this bolt?
What's this bolt near the output of my exhaust manifold. It's loose, shaking and making lots of noise. I'm going to tighten it but I don't even know what it is.
1988 5.8l

Probably used to be an emissions port, bolt my or may not tighten.

Could also be a plug for the access to some machining that is done inside the manifold … don’t remember ever seeing anything hooked into it
