Just did this a week ago on the Excursion. I pulled the bowl to replace all the o-rings, poppet valve & spring, parker sleeves, and overall cleaning. I also installed the passenger side 90* fitting with a schrader valve fitting on top. For my F350 I'll do the same except I'll have the fuel pressure sensor for my Max Tow gauge instead of the schrader valve. Diesel-O-Rings will have all the fittings at a better price than can be found elsewhere. This: https://dieselorings.com/products/7-...45515828199731 is the o-ring kit (I opted for the better blue fuel drain valve o-rings). Here: https://dieselorings.com/products/13...45468637298995 is the 90* adapter which is adjustable in where you set the position such that it won't interfere with the fuel drain valve lever. The schrader valve assembly is here: https://dieselorings.com/products/13...45429681357107 in case you're interested in that.
I gutted the internal tower center section on the Excursion a couple years back when I had issues with it...the pin found it's way through the top and would not allow fuel flow. I'll be deleting this also when I do the F350 in a month or so.
Though not necessary to remove the fuel bowl and rebuild it to add the gauge port, I'd highly recommend it if you have over 225k miles on it. The Excursion has 263k on it and the bowl had not been touched, but the poppet valve was really dirty and probably hanging up creating low fuel pressure issues. The truck idles better and has a crisper throttle now. I think I finally found the fuel knock issue I was having too at idle as that seems to have gone away since. I'm hoping this also solves my loss of mpg I've been having over the last couple of years too, but won't know for sure until we take a road trip. However, from my hand calculations of in town driving it appears to be better.

I looked at Diesel O-Rings parts and that's where I'll order from. As far as the fuel pressure regulator besides cleaning and resealing any suggestions?
I attempted to pull the drivers side pressure plug out of the bowl on the truck and I couldn't get it to budge so pulling the whole bowl will be better.

Just wanted to post a follow up. I was able to remove the pressure port plug on the passenger side of the fuel bowl easily, which is the post filter port. I used a straight adapter and the sensor fit with no problems. A little tedious to tighten it all as the lever for the bowl drain is in the way no matter which position it's in. Everything is in and the gauge works fine. I'll save pulling the fuel bowl for another day, probably when I'm due for a filter change.
