I really like that drawing. I used it quite a bit when I was rebuilding my 55 frame.
One issue that had me confused for a while was getting a 109-1/4” wheelbase measurement when I had all the sheet metal off the frame. I checked, double checked and triple checked and still got the same measurement.
I finally figured out my problem when I noticed on the drawing where it said (loaded). The leaf spring front axle moves forward with a load and the rear axle moves backward with a full load, because of the spring shackles.
If that factory diagram isn’t sufficient to give you what you need, I have the 1953 edition of the Ford Body Builders’ Layout Book that includes more detail. Its page are huge, and print very faint, so taking a pic or scanning won’t be helpful. But I will copy and mail the appropriate pages if you private message me an address. Stu
