I’ve been reading forums after forums. Been helping a lot with the problem I’m having as far as troubleshooting. Until I came across this.
So to my question. How can I possibly be getting this kind of contamination in my trans fluid? I’ve checked the trans lines, I only have the OTA cooler. I don’t see any lines from the trans to the radiator.
Trying to eliminate some basic issues before I pull the trans for a rebuild. Started off with losing all forward gears and only having reverse. Before I start moving ahead on checking other possible issues for this cause, I need to correct this fluid issue. Send help please! Hahaha

There are two possibilities. First, the feed bolts that feed the clutches are loose. To check them you remove the pan and the main valve body. The bolts are up in the worm trails.
The second possibility is that the trans had an internal failure and needs to be rebuilt or replaced.

I was hoping this post would catch your eye hahaha. I had the pan off and was going to check those bolts but left paperwork at work show me the location, way to go me. I will be checking this today though, thank you.
Would the failure internally make my fluid turn the way it did? Unless I'm missing something, I am not seeing any lines that run into the radiator. I'm scratching my head as to how this fluid is that bad.
Well it took much longer than anticipated but finally have the truck back after the trans rebuild. Giving final thoughts to what happened. As I learned through the forum and checked difference issues myself, I learned that I needed some more help hahaha. Ultimate results was a rebuild. It is still a mystery as to why such a contamination was in the fluid which ultimately destroyed the internals. With more experienced eyes looking over what i had already checked and telling me the same thing i had found already, we concluded the only possible issue was that someone had sabotaged my truck by dumping water into the transmission. Mechanic confirmed there is no other way possible for water to get into the fluid without being submerged under water. With the truck never have seeing more than a foot of water, it leads us to believe someone screwed me over for whatever reason. This theory comes because of not only the mystery of the water, but have another truck have the same exact issue in less than 24 hours of this issue happening to this truck. So next on the plate is to have the transmission in the dodge rebuilt as well.
Thank ya'll for the help. The forum and ya'lls input helped me learn a lot.
Sorry to hear that. Its bad enough to have a major repair when its due to a mechanical or driver issue, but sabotage is just terrible. Time from some locks and cameras I think.
