Just few months ago got 2012 f250 CC with 6.2 and 40ooo miles, unbelievably good truck. Still have visitation rights to my long time X(11 years) 2001 F250 CC with 6.8 V10.(sold it to friend of mine who wanted it really bad). Put 252ooo miles on it(mostly local and occasionally hard-I am builder). Still running smooth and strong. Never had a major problem, just usual for 01 - one blown spark plug(twice), hubs, calipers, synthetic oil every 3K, etc.
Thanks to this website, did almost everything myself. V10 are awesome, they will go for ever, if you take care of them.

Even the 6.0 if left stock seems to live a long time based on the posts on the" how many miles do you have on your truck thread". Not sure which forum that one is in I go do most of them I think

Got an all stock 02 ext cab 4x4 7.3 auto. I just changed the oil at 513,000 and still pulls onto the freeway pretty good when your foots in it. Has a long list of replaced parts by ford fleet service, including new rear gears, ball joints, its on its third tranny, many other odds and ends but motor has never been apart short of new injectors and glow plugs, still same turbo which I'm sure has got to be worn. Great truck and even better motor. Ford did it really right with these model years.

2002 7.3 4x4 just hit 180,000 yesterday and going strong. It's all stock except for a Riffraff air filter. It has had injectors done but nothing else to the motor or tranny. My dad has a 2003 with over 270,000 with no issues and it has had a Bullydog chip since new. My fatherinlaw has a 2004 6.0 with over 240,000 but has had alot of issues over the last few years. He has a chip in it but I can't remember what kind. He just bought a 2010 6.4 with 50,000 and it's all stock.
