Hey everyone, N Texas here... I have a 1963 F100 I'm swapping into a 2003 crown vic. Long road ahead of me as I'm dismantling crown vic. So if anyone out there has any input, I would love to hear it. Here are some pics. More to come. I have many parts for sale. Just want to get rid of the stuff I'm not gonna use
Chassis- great shape
Wheels n tires- good shape
Suspension parts- good shape
Also have 2 extra sets of doors.. 2DS and 2 PS all with windows in them. MAKE OFFER. i need em gone . Taking up space.

Do a search in the other areas up to 79, starting in 80 the frames changed so harder to swap front suspensions on to.
Cant remember if any one did a full frame on a 80 to 86 truck?
Look up member Monkey1 I think it is as he has done 2 different years.
Now that I think of it he did a 80's CV drop think full frame but also think a dent.

Welcome! I lived in Houston for a couple years back in the 90's, bought my first HD at Mancuso HD in 1996, rode all over east Texas.
Those 4.6 engines are good engines and I liked the Police version Crown Vics 2006-2011 year cars, with the oversized cooling system and all the other heavy duty upgrades. I never had a plug blow out but it is said that they can and do blow out and to torque the plugs to 25 instead of the recommended 12 or 13 I think it was.
If I remember correctly the 2005 crown vic had the most power (4.6l) of all the years of the crown vic, I dont think it was not much of a power difference though.
The Crown Vic Police Interceptor only had 220hp though so the word: Interceptor, was misleading IMO. They had a nice dual exhaust system and sounded really nice.
