I recently replaced the intake manifold gaskets and heater pipe to adtress a coolant leak issue. I did have a couple of misteps hooking everything back up but I'm good now' One small issue - engine won't turn - starter or by hand. I have checked starter, pulled all plugs and vacuumed cylinders ()checking for water). I can move the crank about 10 degrees either way, Any help would be appreciated!
The fact that I can turn the crank shaft a few degrees, tthen it stops (both directions) makes me wonder if something else broke when I had it plumbed wrong? Would a stuck valve actually reach a piston to stop it? broken timing chain allow me to turn it a bit but not ful;l turn?

If "plumbed wrong" means a coolant hose connected to a vacuum port you might have filled a cylinder with coolant. That would "hydrolock" the cylinder. I'd pull all of the spark plugs and see.
I'd bet money the intake manifold was pulled before any coolant was drained and filled a cylinder or 3 then you went to hit the key to fire it up and hydro locked the engine bending a rod.
I've seen it happen many times. That or a bolt fell between the trans and the engine when the intake was removed, I've seen that happen also. It gets wedged in between the fly wheel and bell housing.
Also possible, if the "coolant leak issue" was disappearing coolant, not visible leaking, that the head gasket was leaking in to one or more cylinders and they've been full since the beginning of the work.
It's not certain that rods are bent. Won't know until you get the plugs out and try to spin.

You're right, I overlooked it when he didn't actually answer my first response about turning the engine with the belts off. He said the accessories turned but didn't answer the question about if the engine turned.
The odd part is that it's stuck backward and forward.

How bad was the "full stop" on the first crank after getting it back together? Did it start to spin then crunch to a stop? Maybe you did jam a valve and that broke something else.
How many miles? What engine? How long have you had it? What was the original coolant leak and how well did it run before you tried to fx it? Manual transmission or automatic? Did you do some other things while you were fixing the coolant leak?
4.6l engine, 200k miles, auto trans.
The "full stop" didn't sound catastrophic, no steam. no smoke.
Is there any chance something broke in the front - timing chain, tensioner that would let it turn a little in each direction?
