2014 F350 brake controller issues
I have a 2014 F350 6.7L, I keep getting "trailer disconnected" while towing, lights and signals on trailer are functional, brakes are not. I bought a plug tester (Curt 58270) plugged it in, and when I tested the brakes the tester did light up to show it was working, but even at that time showed trailer disconnected, hooked up another trailer, still doesn't seem like it recognizes a trailer is hooked up. The other trailer did not have electric brakes so could not test that function, but lights worked, but still showed trailer disconnected. not sure where to go from here. Any help appreciated, thanks.
