How To Hot Wire?

I've gotten a donner truck with a 351m in it it's a 78 the previous owner took the coil ,brain box,ign switch out of it .Is there a way i can temporarly by pass this stuff so i can see if the engine is any good or not? i have a spare coil on it now. also ther is no alt on it either

On the 80s, you can jump the solenoid on the passenger-side fenderwell. Just take off the wire with the red cap, and use a screw driver to touch the positive. But, your truck won't fire without the coil or ign box.

get a used brain box ford only made two i think but get one then run a hot from your positive from your battery to your positive on your coil and it will fire.
