Clutch sizes
I currently have a 351m in my 77 F250 with a 4 speed. I am putting in a 400 and went to get a clutch and came to a big STOP sign. I was told that the 351m has a 11 1/4" clutch and the 400 had a 12" clutch. The 400 was an automatic so I will need to change the flywheel out.
Will the flywheel from the 351M fit the 400.
Will a bigger clutch fit the 351m flywheel.
What is a better clutch design, diaphram or the 3 fingered type. Any help is greatly appreciated.
