7.3 injector cups
I’ve got a 2002 f450 with cracked injector cups only symptoms I had was white smoke for a minute or 2 after starting and diesel in coolant. Are there any other symptoms anyone else has experienced im going to replace the cups soon .As of recently it’s harder to turn on if it does turn on it shuts off .im trying to find out if anyone has had the same symptoms to find out if the issues are related or if I have a different issue to fix .in my opinion sounds like the cracks have gotten bigger and is somehow causing a misfire until shutoff.

What your fuel pressure during all of this? Check the tech section up in the stickies for an easy test method. Has the engine ever acted hydro locked when trying to start? I'm not sure I'd run the truck in it's current condition. If a crack progresses to the point of allowing coolant or fuel into a cylinder, that is a recipe for a bent rod and/or crankshaft.
