Dog lets window down

2013 F250 XL regular cab, doesn't have passenger electric window lock. So when my dog rides with me, she lets the window down. Any bright ideas on how to prevent?

You need to come up with some kind of cover for it. Why is there no lockout for it? I thought that if it came with power windows, the lockout was just part of the deal. No??

nope not on a 2dr or ext cab.

I had the same issue with my dog when she’s riding in the back seat, so I made some covers for the switches on mine out of some sheet metal that I bent that slip over them to prevent her from hitting the switches with her paws when looking out the windows, they work real well. Another thing you could probably do, it just unplug the switch on that side.

The window switches aren't as much of a problem as the door locks. Wait until you leave the truck running to warm up and run back in the house to get something you forgot and the dog has hit the lock button!

I have a separate detachable key on my truck key chain, now...
