My wife says that our garage is nicer, neater and more organized than the rest of our house!.....Of course, I store my power washer in the bedroom in the winter. What's wrong with that?

My woodworking shop in the basement is pretty dusty and overstuffed, but my garage is so clean that you really can eat off the floor. Go to my 2nd gallery - entitled "10 mths later" (a progress report on my truck) - I doubt you'll find a cleaner garage anywhere - and absolutely nothing related to my project is located in the garage.

On a sunny day with the main door open, the sun reflecting off the floor makes you squint - no sh...

My wife thinks I need professional help.....(course the garage is just one reason).

Later,

Mine looks like a warzone at the moment. My truck won't fit in there so between the wife's van, my snowmobile and misc. junk it is a MESS!

Thumbs up

All is forgiven if you have a nice little project sitting in your garage like a cool 53 Ford P/U. What color will it be?

I have two car garage that I keep my panel truck in to keep the city happy since it is not tagged. It's so buried all you see is the roof. I have my tools, equipment, and some junk piled on, in, and around it. That's one half, the other half has the laundry room in the back and stairs, up and down, along the wall (we have a split level house). What room is left over is a collection area, I clean it out every few months and in a couple weeks it's filled up again. Lawn mowers, bicycles, furniture, weekend projects, it's an endless struggle. Last week I had to "winterize" my snow blower out in the driveway- six inches of snow and 23 degrees 10 degrees with the wind chill. I swear I'm going to build shed in the backyard and more shelves in the garage and basement but life keeps getting in the way.

My vice is that I hang onto useless stuff like 302s that are taking up vital floor space.

My garage WAS a mess until last nite
I hauled off a trailer (5x16) off full of junk.
I had stuff boxed up that was left from yard sales, and moved out there
Its still not clean, but i can put a vehicle in it again
It will be spotless in a week or 2

Unidentified substance in gargage help ID

I was cleaning my garage last night and came up on something quite hard and large. It seems to be under everything I pick up. it is whitish grey in color and very smooth. As best I can tell it is wall to wall and even extends under the walls. Does anyone have a clue what it might be?

Hmmmmn.......I see that same stuff once in awhile. Items on the shelves seem to migrate onto the floor. Then new stuff appears out of no where to use up the vacant shelf space.
