Check out this link for what one of these trucks looks like after a rollover and no rollbar/cage. Follow the first link Bronczilla gives and scroll to the bottom of the page.

actually, the regular cab truck would stand a roll alot better then the bronco, the solid partishon in the cab would have more strength then the open design of the bronco.
my mother-in-law wrote off their 79 f-150 a year b4 i met my wife, and after looking at the damage on that truck, i'd feel safer in one of these trucks, then a newer one during a roll.
these were designed to withstand a roll, without the glass inplace( i know the glass helps as well) but all newer trucks are designed to rely on the bonded glass to add strenght during a roll.

well I rolled my78' F150 4x4 351M auto, while out horsing around in front of a group of kids. I was trying to spin the truck around backwards and continue moving in the opposite direction, which I've down several times b4 but I got a little carried away, and when I went to "whip it around" the front end slid the other direction in which i intended and next thing I know the truck slid sideways off the road and started down the side of a little bank, the bank had just enough slop to it that it let the truck go over. The hood and fender landed on a pile of dirt which kept the door off the ground leaving it unhurt, and killing the hood and fender, the back of the cab beside the side window was rumpled a little and the back bumper was twisted a bit. And the right front tire was popped off the rim. The oil in the motor got in the combustion chambers of the engine and wouldn't let it turn over. After letting it sit on all fours for a night the oil must of drained back into the pan, cause the next day I hit the key, it blew some smoke and ran like nothing ever happened I was lucky that none of the glass broke. Oh and the headliner got busted up while I was trying to keep my self in my seat during the incident. hahah These are the good times.

I bought my 1977 from my buddy he spent 4 years rebuilding it after a he rolled it. It crushed the drivers side of the cab about afew inches above the seat and ruin all the fenders on the drivers side and the hood. But she looks pretty good now though I think I might be able to get a picture of it wrecked and post it in my gallery to show a before and after.
