The only things forward of the cab at this point are; motor (maybe a 352 that was rebuilt), inner fenders, and the radiator support.
I have inspected the rad support and it's resuable, not perfect, but not a rusting heap either I have removed it a couple of times already trying to get the front end put back together.
Guess I'll just chisel the "pucks" and install the new ones
Thanks for the info guys~n~gals This place absolutely rocks!
If you want to eliminate the rusty bolts for next time, this time when you put insulators back in there, use stainless Bolts, Nuts & washers, plus slather everything that's a metal fastener with a good dielectric compound.
Also it helps to refinish your metal parts, where the insulators actually sit & contact it, using an epoxy paint. Even a rattle can of semi gloss black epoxy is better than other finishes.
I haven't gotten to this yet, I'm having trouble getting the $$ for the "pucks". I will find out Wed as to when I get to start work Ford wants $25 for each piece (4 pieces needed 2 on each side)
