i was gonna look for the warranty plate but didnt have much time to look at it possibly taking truck on a sort of trade for selling some equipment for a cat mechanic i know i know its an 800 cause it has a v8 gas and i know its a LT because its a tandem used to be a truss setting truck

1FD = Ford Motor Co USA, incomplete vehicle
Y = Class 8-- 33,001-55,000 lbs, air brakes
T80 = LT800 gas
K = 429 4V "Lima" gas V8 (Also the LPG version if a special order)
1 = ignore, Ford check digit
B = 1981 model year
V = Kentucky Truck Plant
J00039 = Serial number, looks like you had the 39th number issued, you truck was probably made in August or September 1980

thank you so much for the info i dont know a ton about the Louisville trucks but i do like them and ive heard good stuff about em.
i would like to get my hands on it and throw a big cam 855 or a cat in i which ever i get ahold of first im sure ill have to dog box the firewall?
but anyway would like to take the crane off and put a fifth wheel plate on it and use it to haul hay and our 973 cat loader
