Ford Fire Trucks

Hello from NC. I recently stumbled on a barn find 1977 F700 Pumper truck purchased from a local VFD several years ago. Got it for a good price, after approval from my wife of course, so had it towed to a shop to get it running. Needs a lot more work but should be in order in a few months. Just so happened the tow truck driver mentioned they had a 1975 F650 Pumper from another VFD so I had to go look at it as well. So now I have 2 pumpers and a lot of work ahead to get them running.

Plan to get one working as a pump truck and turn other into a dump truck for use around the property. Here is a pic of the ‘77. Have not gotten the other delivered yet. Afraid having 2 non-working fire trucks at the barn may be a bit much for my wife to handle so going slow for now.

All but one of the tail lights actually work. Apparently sirens have to be removed when selling to public.

Here is the link. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum88/

The chapters are a little hard to find as they are at the bottom of the page.
