Just thought I would post a few pics of my progress. I stretched the hood and fenders. I have the cab mounts finished and the front clip mounts. I put some different tires and rims and also added some side steps. The heat has been getting bad lately and I might have to stop and retreat to the garage where the AC is. I do have a couple of projects that I should be working on now.. I have the front bumper cut up. I still have to finish the final stages, as you can see it sets on jack stands. I need to make the brackets for it. I also want to bring in the bumper closer to the valance.
I guess I should give info on my truck. 64 crew on an 87 f-350 frame with a 2001 powerstroke. I still have to shorten the the frame. Maybe in the fall we can tackle that project.
I owned a '65 or '66 Crew Cab for decades, and finally did sell it maybe 8-years back. I could never seem to give it the needed attention.
They sure are a unique pickup and super scarce. My current driver (not daily) is a restored '77 F350 Crew with a longbed.
Therefore, I am not Crew-Less. hahahaha
