Has anyone had a problem with the one touch down drivers window function on their 2023 F250 ? Has not worked since new. ( April 3rd ). It was intermittent in working
in that it would only move a few inches with each switch pull in either direction. Aggravating to operate and not sure when it might quit functioning.
Dealer looked at it mid May and said switch was bad. Replaced switch , did not help. Replaced door motor next week after getting one. Still no help.
Now at end of May said it is DCM ( Door control module ). Module has been on back order almost four weeks now. Window does work somewhat. Takes 5 to 7
switch operations to go down, and 1 or 2 to go up. Very frustrating as I like the windows down in the summer. This is a crew cab and other 3 windows work fine.
Just checking to see if I am just lucky or this is a common problem.
Well, since it is a 23, no common problems have been established yet.
It is not a common issue on 22 and earlier trucks.
23 has so many electronic changes from earlier models, you really can't compare them.
I been having problems with the driver side window on my 2021 F150 Plat from the getgo. No issue going down, but loose the auto up often which requires me to hold the switch till fully closed. Lots of bounce backs too, where it'll roll up but comes back down few inches. Had the motor replaced, which solved the issue for couple weeks and then back to the previous issues. (no in channel visors). Owners manual tells how to reset it, which sometimes works and other times wont. Obviously a flaw in the software, which Ford apparently hasn't taken the time to diagnose and fix yet. Guess they have to many hickups to get it all taken care of.
Might check to see of the window goes up and down the track easily by itself. If it does not then it may be tripping the circuit breaker inside the motor. We had a few Cadillacs that had that problem until the person at the plant learned how to install windows into the doors.
Brand new 2023 f250 lariat Aug. 2023, after pressing drivers window switch quickly or holding it down the drivers window opens 3” then stops. The next switch touch and hold will go all the way down. Similar problems raising window, sometimes taking 2 or 3 attempts to raise.
Sounds like my issue. The ECM finally fixed it. But Ford required the service techs fo perform other steps prior to
changing the ECM. Took 5 weeks and 3 trips to dealer to diagnose and fix, Frustrating to say the leasr.
If your dealer didn't try resetting the limits on the window first, they may have just thrown parts at it.
My FIL's '22 did this once in the 25k miles he owned it, resetting the limits fixed it. Also had this issue intermittently on my '17 Power Wagon. I think my wife's old F150 did it once too. Not sure what causes it to lose the limits.
Really simple to reset them. Push and hold the switch down, when the window bottoms out hold for I think 5 seconds, then release. Roll window up, when it is fully up keep holding the switch for another 5 seconds, then release. Fixed the issue every time on our trucks. May work for you, if it doesn't you've got a more serious issue, like a mis-aligned track.

Hi there. This window concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your F-250. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.

I am having the exact same issue only with the passenger window. I have a 2023 F250 Limited. Its very frustrating. I just had my truck in the shop for literally 2 months for ALL my 360 cameras dying. It stayed in the shop consecutively for 1 month!
There is fatiuge on my part of taking it back to the shop, I tried the limit reset, but that did not seem to work for me. My Truck! When I pressed roll down, it stopped this far. Completely rolled down, requested roll up and it stopped here.
I haven't had any issues with my '23 but I did read somewhere that the '23's and '24's were having door/window issues due to the alignment of the locking mechanism inside the door. That it was misaligned and putting strain on the window and the door locks. It's a simple fix, to remove the door panel and re-rout the locking mechanism, but still requires a trip to the dealer. I think they narrowed down the origin to bad direction on the assembly line when the door locks were installed.
