I have been chasing a problem with my factory installed trailer brake controller. When I apply the manual slider I get a rapid pulsing of the brakes and brake lights.
I tested the truck with a know good controller and it did the same thing, and I test the controller in a good truck and it worked normally.
I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue?
The code i was anle to pull from the TBC was C2803, pressure transducer.
Thanks, I did check #12, along with every other fuse that deals with brake lights, turn signals, and the TBC.
I went through the WSM for the C2803 which is Pinpoint Test C for the auxiliary brakes. By following the test tree looks like i need a new master cylinder. Damn. Has anybody else been down this road?
Possible.
Do you remember the module that threw that code though - the scan tools will show that.
I ask because a network communications issue (U1900) with the ABS module can cause the code you posted earlier to be in the TBC module, and cause the behavior you describe.
