My Bronco doesn’t always go into park, I have to wiggle the shifter or shift from drive back to park otherwise it’ll roll. Also sometimes it won’t start in park I have to shift to neutral. Is it possible it’s the MLPS or shifter cable issue?
It isn't the MLPS. Most likely it is loose bolts where the shift cable attaches to the bottom of the steering column. Crawl under the dash and look up the column. There are two #30 Torx screws that can loosen or fall out and cause this problem.
