Wow what a great idea! I could of just used this last weekend. My daily driver, a 2015 GMC Canyon had an open in an wiring harness to the EVAP vent soleniod, triggering a Check Engine light and an PO449 trouble code. Instead of tearing apart the whole harness, I decided it was much easier to just find a good spot in that harness and make and splice a new pigtail to the EVAP vent soleniod. Anyway it takes a while to stuff wiring in those harnesses while you are laying down on your back. It seems like it should be a simple thing, but it's not at least for me. I almost decided to try to cut a small cheap plastic funnel apart and try that. LMC has a tool for this too, but the price to me, seems kind of high since I normally don't build harnesses.
