Hi, I have just finished rebuilding and installing my E4od transmission. It’s in a 1995 f250 with the 300 inline 6. I put it in and added the fluid, it did seem that the level was not decreasing as I had expected, but I thought that I just needed it warmed up and cycled through gears to get it circulated. After going through all the gears, dozens of times, and letting everything warm up, I checked the fluid. It was still way too full. Keep in mind that I have only added 14 quarts total. So to diagnose the issue I removed the line to the oil cooler and started it up... Nothing. Not even a trickle, I’m getting no oil. So I know the pump must not be working.
I am needing to know now if my torque converter is now ruined, is my pump ruined, what would cause the pump to not function, and is there anything else that I might have broken in this experience? I would say that I’ve run the engine for at least 30 minutes.
When you re-installed the TC was that done correctly? I've seen videos and repeated cautions here on FTE how that procedure is vital to proper operation after the transmission has been removed and re-installed.

I wasn’t 100 % sure where to post my thread, so I put it in the 90s for f series forum as well. The answer is yes, you go to that forum and see my explanation of how I made sure it was in. Got any more ideas?
