Question King Pins

What is the easiest way to test wear & tear of the suspension , with the emphasis on the king pins & I-beams & all bushings ?
I bought a kin pin set on sale @ a very good price , so are they easy to install ? I need to replace an I beam anyway I think so all help is greatly appreciated

Long ago as an apprentice in a machine shop we rebuilt front axles and steering axles on fork lifts.
King pins are very hard material. From memory the bushings in the axle wore faster than the king pins.
We turned the bushings out in the shop, pressed them in and then used reamers to true up the bore on the bushings.
The reamers were long so they would cut both the top and bottom bushings at the same time.
Do you have the capability to do that ?

Thank-you Hobohilton........I have hopped trains , & stayed @ some Hiltons......... Now hobos are called tramps
Anyway I am a sucker for a bargain so I bought the king pin set & I THINK kit may have came with bushings but not sure Carpenters listings for king pins implies there are 2 different kinds of spindles for 1971 trucks ( according to serial numbers maybe ) ??? I have asked here before but know answer !!! Do you know difference in spindles or any other info I will need ??? I will try to see what came in my kit.........
I knew reaming was involved but I did not know the bushings is what got reamed !!! Do new bushings need reaming ?
Also aren't there 2 different types of bushings , steel & brass

The kit for my 81 F100, also comes in 2 different ones based on pin size.
The kit had 2 pins, 4 bushings, 2 bearings, 2 seals and a bunch of shims.

As said if you dont have a press to get the old bushing out and new in and the right size reamer you cant do this at home.
I took the spindles & kit to a machine shop, told they could do it by 4 different people.
Well they did not ream the bushings right and the pins would not go all the way thru
That was the only think I farmed out on my truck and it was a fail!
I have since bought the right reamer and will get a press if I have to do this again.

When I did the pins on my '66, I got a set that had the nylon bushings. No reaming required. It was easy enough but they don't last as long. My next set will have bronze bushings
