Cruise control help.
95 7.3 with a Banks turbo kit. 5 speed.
Cruise started out intermittent. Randomly will go off, sometimes on a big bump like an expansion joint, sometimes on smooth pavement . I can turn it back on using only the resume button but time varies, sometimes right away sometimes several minutes later.
Since it works with the resume button I thought it might be the sensor on the brake cylinder so I replaced that. Also replaced the clutch switch.
Now for its latest trick, before it just cut out but now it randomly accelerates too.
Any help on what to look for next is greatly appreciated.

one day I decided I would find the problem and started tearing in to the wiring. I found a broken wire at the clutch switch, about 1/2 inch from the plug. the wire was broken but the plastic covering was perfect. the ends of the broken wire would make enough contact most of the time but bumps would interrupt it and the cruise would shut off.
